Outside Magazine Ranks Tucson #1 on Top Ten List of Best Bike Towns

More good ink about Tucson bicycling. In recent weeks, Tucson was renewed as a Gold-level Bicycling Friendly Community by the League of American Bicyclists (LAB), and ranked #8 on Bike Score’s top 10 Bikeable Cities. Both LAB and Bike Score emphasize bicycling infrastructure and amenities, such as connecting bike routes to public transit in their rankings.

But from Outside’s perspective, good cycling means more than bike lanes and flat routes for utility cycling and commuting to work. The magazine’s Best Towns ranking tool includes scenic roads with interesting topography, access to sweet singletrack for off-road riders, and great places to gather post-ride for a bit or brew.
